My last ever economics grade has just been uploaded. It's finally over and I will never have to take another economics class in my life.

I'm still reading Game of Thrones. It's been a busy week and I underestimated how long it is. I also read The Five People You Meet In Heaven by Mitch Albom and was pleasantly surprised that it didn't go all religious on me. My Asian lit class got cancelled yesterday because aside from thr instructor (Mrs. Gruber whom I love and adore and who is my advisor for the BA thesis), I was the only one to show up. My MA applications are almost done. I haven't even put them in envelopes but I'm already nervous. I still need to pass seven exams, write two papers, finish my thesis and pass my oral exam. That sounds like sooo much when I write it out like that. Still, the end's in sight.

Matze and I are celebrating Christmas today! That has been a tradition since our first Christmas together in 2009 after I spent the real Christmas in a rather depressing hospital room in Brazil visiting my aunt. In an hour and a half, I get my trauma paper (the one I will expand into a BA thesis) back. I'm incredibly nervous and don't know what to expect. My sister, Matze and a couple of friends have been telling me to stop worrying because I always get good grades but somehow that just makes me feel like the stakes to be good are higher.

So, this morning I got an email from my grandma. It was all the usual stuff she always says except for, "keep me up to date on your 'studies'." Does that mean that not even she takes me seriously?

Public economics is in about two hours and I'm a little nervous about it (mostly the multiple choice section) but I think I should be fine. I sacrificed all of my hobbies (of which I admittedly don't have many, mostly reading. I haven't read a word in October!) for this, so it better be worth it.
